Celebrated music producer/engineer Johnny Sandlin was recognized Saturday for his achievements with a bronze star on the floor of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.

Some of the artists he worked with include Gregg Allman, Microwave Dave and the Nukes, Col. Bruce Hampton and the Aquarium Rescue Unit, Delbert McClinton, Wet Willie, The Outlaws, Widespread Panic, Bonnie Bramlett, Dickie Betts, Elvin Bishop, and Cowboy, which included Tommy Talton and the late Shoals singer/guitarist Scott Boyer. 

He produced The Allman Brothers Band's "Brothers And Sisters," "Win, Lose Or Draw," and contributed mixing and mastering to "Eat A Peach" and the legendary live album, "The Allman Brothers Band at Fillmore East."
