TUSCUMBIA — Work is underway on the pocket park the city is developing next door to Fiddledee D at 111 S. Main Street in the downtown business district.

A Tuscumbia Utilities work crew were in the park this week setting utility poles.

Mayor Kerry Underwood said the plan is to get the park completed in time for the Helen Keller Festival, which is June 27-30.
