Chandler Dyas, Russellville: Dyas converted a four-point play in the final seconds of the Golden Tigers’ 60-59 win over Athens, a game in which he scored 26, and he had 20 points in a 53-46 win over Haleyville.

Brycen Parrish, Wilson: Parrish had a putback at the buzzer to force overtime and finished with 22 points in a 42-38 win Friday over Rogers.

Braden Ray, Red Bay: Ray scored 31 points in a 65-49 win over Sulligent and added 17 – all but two after halftime – in a 56-30 win over Hamilton.

Girls

Kennedi Hawkins, Florence: Hawkins scored 16 points Friday as the Falcons earned a win over rival Muscle Shoals, 57-52.

Hannah Collinsworth, Deshler: Collinsworth scored a game-high 16 points Friday in Deshler’s 61-46 win over Central in Class 4A, Area 16 play.

Ruthie Smith, Lauderdale County: Smith scored 27 points – one off her season-high – in a 58-38 win over rival Lexington.
