An open letter to Alabama Republican senators from a conservative Republican.

Way to go, boys and girls. You have just guaranteed election for more Democrats to occupy seats in Montgomery.

This latest abortion bill has sealed that deal. What an atrocious piece of legislation.

Believe it or not, we are not still in the 19th Century. Women now have a vote and a brain to guide them in the polling booth.

Being the father of a daughter, I resent the slap across the face and the boot across the back of the neck that you have placed on the women of our state. It seems to me, all you males, if you do not have a cervix, you do not have a vote on what women can or cannot do about their bodies.

There is an old saying that fits this debacle to a tee: “In the beginning for practice, God made idiots. When He perfected that, He made state senators and lady governors.”

I voted for one of you in the past election, but I will stay at home next time if you are on the ballot.

I will never vote for Democrat.

Pasley should study his constition better the establishment clause in the first amendment prohibits the govt.form making any law respecting an establishment of religion. The clause not only forbids the govt. from establishing an official religion but also prohibits goverment actions that unduly favor one religion over another. So yes separtion of church and state is in our constitution..Sincerely David Rau

Mr. Lovelace is so correct the Alabama abortion law is totally barbaric. The new law is not worth the paper its written on it won't stand a court challenge. Why would
anyone want to deny a woman a abortion for rape or incest? People like Pasley want women to submit to a mans will and want to take us back to the 19th century when not even abortion was illegal but all forms of birth control were too. Most states at the turn of the 20th century had laws that made all birth control illegal. The catholic church even today prohibits all forms of birth control although their members largely ingore the edict. And no one can say thats not true just ask any rabid anti abortionist they will gladly tell you their mission is not only to make abortion illegal they also want to make all birth control illegal on religious grounds. You see people like Pasley do not belive is seperation of church and state. sincerely David Rau

"separation of church and state" does not exist in our Constitution. People like ol Dave readily agree to kill children in the womb, evil at it's worst. Only a warped mind would consider this "progress". A great evil exists in this country, and it's name is liberalism.

The tired old "it's a woman's body" lie. Answer me this, how many fingers does a woman have when she's pregnant?
