I just heard (President) Trump say in one of his lies, seems to be about all he does: “Listen, I don’t know, but there’s something strange going on at Fox News; there’s some strange things going on over there; I don’t know.” I’ve got news for you Trump, since their first broadcast, there’s been some strange things going on at Fox News.
I got a donkey to protect the cows from coyotes. But the donkey taught them how to get out of the fence so many times that I ended up selling them, and they all went to a feed lot to be butchered and eaten. The moral of this story is you shouldn’t listen to donkeys when they tell you the grass is greener on the other side of the fence.
I am above 80 years old. I have had a long time to observe. I am of the opinion that if you have to keep reminding me that you are a “stable genius,” perhaps you are neither stable nor genius.
I’m listening to the radio and Congress has passed a bill called the Equality Act. If you are a boy and think you should be a girl, you are a girl. If you are a girl and think you should be a boy, you are a boy. And you cannot be discriminated against in no way, shape or form. All the Democrats and eight Republicans voted for this bill.
Feminist leaders harm women by convincing them that men’s opinions don’t matter. And then when the men leave them for aborting their babies, they are shocked and don’t understand.
It seems like the Alabama lottery is at a stalemate because too many lawmakers in Montgomery want 100 percent of it to go to the general fund. I don’t think they are very smart, because if they would just compromise and put 50 percent in the general fund and 50 percent to education, they could get everything they need instead of saying, “I want 100 percent.” Because 100 percent of nothing is still nothing.
Somebody needs to tell Donald Trump that a president and a dictator are not the same thing.
A week or so ago, we went to our grandchildren’s graduation at Webster in Muscle Shoals and during the prayer and “The Pledge of Allegiance” to the flag, there were parents who didn’t even take their caps off, and we wonder what’s the matter with our children now? That’s a perfect example of why things are the way they are.
