HOOVER — JJ Bleday had five hits, Mason Hickman threw six stellar innings and top-seeded Vanderbilt cruised to an 11-1 win over No. 8 seed Auburn on Wednesday in the Southeastern Conference Tournament.

Vanderbilt (46-10) rolled to a SEC regular-season title with 23 league wins and kept the momentum going in Hoover. The game ended after eight innings because of the tournament's 10-run rule.

Bleday and Pat DeMarco both hit two doubles for Vanderbilt, which jumped out to a 6-0 lead by the end of the third inning. Stephen Scott had five RBIs and hit a solo homer. Hickman (7-0) struck out nine batters.

Auburn (33-24) managed just two hits. Kyle Gray (2-4) took the loss, giving up one run over 1 1/3 innings.

Vanderbilt will play the winner of the Mississippi State-LSU game today. Auburn will face the loser at 1 p.m.

Arkansas 5, Ole Miss 3

Jack Kenley knocked home three runs Wednesday as No. 2 seed Arkansas defeated No. 7 seed Ole Miss.

Arkansas (41-15) remains in the winners' bracket and faces No. 3 seed Georgia, which beat Texas A&M 2-0 earlier Wednesday. Ole Miss (34-24) has an elimination game vs. Texas A&M.

Ole Miss led 3-2 until Arkansas pulled ahead for good on Kenley's two-run single off Zack Phillips (4-3) with two outs in the sixth inning.

Ole Miss put the tying run on third and the potential go-ahead run on first in the eighth inning, but Matt Cronin struck out pinch-hitter Chase Cockrell to end the threat. Arkansas added an insurance run in the bottom of the eighth.

Arkansas' Kevin Kopps (6-3) allowed one run in 1 2/3 innings of relief. Cronin got the last four outs — all by strikeout — to earn his 11th save of the season.

Georgia 2, Texas A&M 0

Cam Shepherd belted a two-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning to give No. 3 seed Georgia a victory over No. 6 seed Texas A&M.

Shepherd blasted a 2-2 pitch from Joseph Menefee (3-2) over the left-field fence, barely sailing over the glove of left fielder Cam Blake.

Georgia (43-14) got just three hits but still won an SEC tournament game for the first time since 2011. The Bulldogs had lost eight straight SEC tournament games.

The Bulldogs play No. 2 seed Arkansas today. Texas A&M (37-20-1) plays Ole Miss in an elimination game.

Texas A&M starter Chris Weber held Georgia hitless before allowing Randon Jernigan's one-out single in the eighth.

Georgia's Tim Elliott, Justin Glover and Zac Kristofak (5-0) combined on a two-hitter.
