The Loretto girls and boys basketball teams are both ranked No. 1 in the Associated Press Class A Tennessee high school rankings released Monday.

Loretto is probably the largest Class A school in the state. There are 15-20 schools competing in Class AA this year with smaller enrollments than Loretto. Next year TSSAA is going to four classes in basketball and Loretto will be in AA.
